Van Bronckhorst hired as Rangers manager
Former Rangers and Netherlands midfielder Van Bronckhorst returns to Ibrox as the 17th permanent manager in the history of the Glasgow giants.
“I am absolutely delighted to be returning to Rangers as the club’s new manager,” Van Bronckhorst said.
Gerrard ended his three-and-a-half year reign at Rangers last week to take charge of Premier League strugglers Villa.
