Taylor dominates Gutierrez
Undisputed and undefeated lightweight world champion, Irish Katie Taylor, successfully defended her titles, via a convincing unanimous decision in ten rounds, over Spanish Miriam Gutiérrez, this Saturday at Wembley Arena, London, England.
By the end of a battle entirely dominated by Taylor, including a fourth round knockdown, which Gutiérrez survived, the Spanish fighter had showed her strength, endurance and a great heart in going the full distance. But the champion ended up winning with the scorecards of 99-91, 100-90 and 100-89.
