Salah Returns to Liverpool Training
Liverpool have been handed a major boost ahead of taking on Atalanta in the Champions League. Mohamed Salah is set to train with the side today, after returning two negative COVID-19 tests.
The Reds attacker contracted the virus whilst on international duty with Egypt, and missed out on his sides 3-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday. Speaking after the match, Jugen Klopp revealed the negative test for Salah, meaning that he can return to training with the first team.
“That’s what I’ve heard, yes, it [was] negative today, I think he is from now on pretty normal in testing. Tomorrow we have the UEFA testing for the Champions League and I am pretty sure he will be in that.”
“He will have two tests in the next two days, so, yes, he will be tested like all of us.”
