FC Duren vs Bayern Munich

FC Duren & Bayern Munich’s previous line-ups:
FC Duren (vs SC Fortuna Koln II): Jackmuth; Becker, Sobiech, Weber, Wipperfurth; Antoski, Omerbasic, Putz, Sarikaya, Tchakoumi; Brasnic.
Bayern Munich (vs Hertha Berlin): Neuer; Richards, Boateng, Alaba, Hernandez; Kimmich, Goretzka, Muller, Gnabry, Davies; Lewandowski.
As mentioned, Flick is likely to rotate his side on Thursday, so we could see a run out for a number of the club’s summer signings, including Alexander Nubel, Bouna Sarr, Marc Roca, Douglas Costa and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Players to watch:
FC Duren: Bayer Leverkusen academy graduate Marc Brasnic has made a strong start to the season and will certainly be one to keep an eye on for later this week. FC Duren aren’t blessed with the attacking variety of their Bavarian counterparts but in Brasnic, they have a player who could cause one or two problems to an unrecognisable backline. The 23-year-old has played three games this season and netted on every occasion, including a brace last month against Victoria Glesch-Paffendorf. A different proposition awaits Brasnic this week but football, as we know, is a confidence sport, and he is certainly enjoying his time on the pitch at the minute.

Bayern Munich: Flick is unlikely to risk any of his so-called ‘big names’ on Thursday, but that does not mean he will be putting out a hotchpotch XI by any stretch of the imagination. Even his second team boasts plenty of world-class quality. One player who isn’t perhaps in that bracket (in terms of talent) but could prove a solid squad member nonetheless is Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. An interesting summer signing, the former Stoke forward joined the club on a free transfer following his release from PSG and he is likely to get minutes in games of this ilk, functioning as a stand-in for Robert Lewandowski.

Scoreline prediction: FC Duren 0-3 Bayern Munich
